To maintain compliance with USG-18, for the following listed materials, UPS requires all packages to comply with U.S. DOT packaging requirements contained in 49 CFR 173.302(f) and 173.304(f). Such packagings must be marked with the text “DOT31FP” on the outer package. Affected entries are:
UN 1070 — Nitrous oxide
UN 1072 — Oxygen, compressed
UN 2451 — Nitrogen trifluoride
UN 3156 — Compressed gas, oxidizing, n.o.s.
UN 3157 — Liquefied gas, oxidizing, n.o.s.
UN 3356 — Oxygen generator, chemical
Carbon dioxide and oxygen mixture, compressed
